SAP ESS/MSS deployment - Roles Not created

Hi Experts,

We have deployed ESS/MSS packages in SAP EP 7.0 EhP1 system. After deploying we couldn't able to find the Roles to specific ESS & MSS. Before deploying the i followed as per the link Mahesh Chedde: http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=31476 and also the SAP Note 1359937. We have deployed for EhP4 since our backend ERP is on EhP4. And in Webdynpro we can see all the Webdynpros related to ESS/MSS.

Please let me know is there any missing and is there any other dependencies for this. I didn't get any errors during the deployment process. I have deployed using the JSPM is that its issue?

Regds,

Mahesh

    Hi Mahesh,

Do you able to see your portal roles/objects for Employee Self-Service under the path Content Administration --> Portal Content --> Content Provided by SAP --> Enduser Content folder ?

My bad....I didn't follow the whole discussion. Roy is correct bout the content missing point.

    Regards,

    Biroj Patro.

Yes, I have deployed SCA files which have mentioned in the link and the SAP Note. I was in a thought that there will be Portal Content also.

I was able to find the BP in the portal. I will deploy those files and i will get back to you.

Thank You very for quick reply
