IBP roles/authorization

Hi,

How do we know which roles do I need to access a particular app in IBP.

For eg I do not see the Manage Realignment

Rules app in my profile. How do I know which roles should I ask the BASIS team to assign to my id so that i can access that app.

Is there a documentation currently available like, this particular app require this roles.

Hi Harshad -

When there's a new concept being released by SAP, and if you are not able to see that app even after you upgraded your version - it means, SAP has come up with a new business catalog that's required to be assigned for a user to be able to see that app. You should find the details about the same mostly in the authorisation section for that app in the SAP Help.

For example, you will not be able to see the realignment app post 1808 without assigning the business catalog, please check the below link where SAP drafted about it,
