How to exclude or delete a material from a cif model

Dear Expert

I want to delete or exculde a material from a cif model which is used to transfer sales order.But I do not know how to do.

Could you please guide me? Thank you in advance : )

Dear Liting,

you can exclude materials from a cif model with the multiple selection function directly in the integration model what you use for transfer. The button with "yellow arrow" for multiple selection is directly on the right side of the field where you can enter the Material numbers. On the tab where you can see the red stoplight is for excluding material numbers. You can exclude sngle values and also number ranges. Please read following Help how to use it:

1. Excluding single values from the selection

Use this screen to enter a multiple selection of several lines.

The values that you enter here are excluded from thh seelction. If you

double-click the field, or position the cursor and choose 'selection

options', you can set the selection option (for example, 'greater

than').

If you have chosen a selection option other than the default (single

value), it appears on a pushbutton at the beginning of the line. If you

push the pushbutton, the maintenance screen for the selection option

appears.

Example

Multiple selection for supplier number

"Red stoplight" single value

Single value XYZ

+ Pattern A*

o The following supplier numbers are e x c l u d e d from the

selection: XYZ and all supplier numbers beginning with 'A'.

2. Excluding intervals from the selection

Use this screen to enter a series of intervals. All of the intervals

that you enter here are excluded from the selection.

Example :

Multiple selection for supplier number

"Stoplight" intervals

A to E

+ G to H

o This selects all supplier numbers, but n o t those with numbers

A to E, and n o t those from G to H.

Hi,

I understand that you want to deactivate sales order model for one material.

1. When you activate materials and sales orders give X0 MRP type in selection at CFM1.

Whichever material is not required at perticular plant change that MRP type to other than X0.

2. If you want only to deactivate in sale order model then check your selection parameters for that IM, whether you are maintaining products then remove which ever is not required. If you are only selecting plant then give that material in the restriction.

3. If there are more than one integration model activated for that material then if you remove from one IM it will not get deactivated. In that case go to CFM5 and select sales order and give that material and plant then execute. You will find which all IM's are there for that.

Then deactivate in those all IM's.
