Hi Experts,

We have an addon run in version 2005A and now we will run it in 2007A. The addon is used to add automatically new row or second row of a sales order that use to sell promo item. Every 10 pcs of the item A to a certain customer will receive 1 item A free.

The info of the promo item is available on user table.

Currently, the addon works fine but still popup message : " row - invalid index [66000 - 31]".

The 2nd row is still able to create and contains the promo item automatically.

What is the cause of the error message ? pls give advice. I appreciate your help so much.

    • Hi

Any way, you can use another method to retrieve the values from the system form like sales order. It is using DBDataSource.

Since you are using Sales Order, you will get the value saved in this form by using

frm.DataSources.DBDataSources.Item("ORDR").GetValue(). The offset to use is 0.

If you are accessing from the matrix the DBDatasource to use is "RDR1" and the offset is pVal.Row-1 (Matrix rows starting from 1 but the db datasource index starts from 0).

You can't set the values using this because setting value through datasource is locked in system forms.

If you use this successfully, you can move from this error.
