Hi,

In Optimiser Profile, goto Automartic Cost Generation, there u have to give priorities for Demand, priority for Location Product,

Procurement Priority for PPMs/PDS,Procurement Priority of T-lanes.

In order to set the above priorities, u have to tick Automatic Cost Generation.

If you set this indicator, the system automatically generates all the control costs (that is, the cost model) relevant to the optimizer. The system generates these costs based on the business goals you have defined. The main goal is the maximization of the service level. You can also specify the following goals:

Consideration of the demand and product priorities

Consideration of procurement priorities.

The dependencies for this are:

1. You define the goals on the Automatic Cost Generation .

2. The system ignores all the costs that you may have defined in the master data. They remain unchanged even after the cost generation.

3. The system does not consider the cost profile for weighting costs, which you can define for optimization-based planning.

4. Automatic cost generation does not generate any penalty costs for quota arrangements items.

5. Automatic cost generation does not generate any setup costs for setup transitions.

You can define priorities from 1-4 for three different priority classes of the demand and the safety stock. 1 is the highest,4 the lowest priority.

If you use the automatic cost generation function, the system ignores all the costs defined in the master data. It also ignores the costs of the priority classes you defined in the product master data .

In addition, you can set the Consider Priority of Location Products indicator so that the system considers the priority of products. The system considers the product priority together with the demand priority. You can define which priority is more important and should be considered by the system first, by setting the Priority of Location Product.
