UWL: Item types register not pulling values from SWFVISU

Hi Gurus,

I have created a system alias "ABC" for the system name SAP_FINANCIALS. The connection test for connectors is successfull, then I create a system in UWL for alias "ABC" and did a "Register Item Types for All Systems", this is also successfull.

When I checked in the UWL.WEBFLOW.ABC XML and in UWL.WEBFLOW XML, the configuration I have done in SWFVISU transaction is not pulled from R/3 and populated. The user-id exist in portal and R/3 and have SAP_ALL authorization.

Please let me know what could be the reason and how to overcome this problem.

    The problem is resolved after following the below steps,

    Create RFC destination in Portal.

    1.Login to visual Administrator.

    2.Navigate to the Cluster -> <INSTANCE ID> -> Server <SERVER NAME> -> Services -> Destinations.

    3.Double click on Destinations node.

    4.Under Destinations select RFC node.

    5.Click on "New" button.

    6.In the "Enter destination name:" input dialog give as destination name the following: $ (EX: LRQCLNT210$WebFlowConnector ) Click on OK

    7.FIll fields: System ID, Message Server, Logon Group, Language, Client, Username, Password. The other fields remain default. (Make sure the user you specify has "SAP_BC_UWL_SERVICE" role assigned. This is needed to fetch the technical information from the backend)

    8.Click on the "Save and Test" button

    9."Successfully connected to system <SYSTEM ID> as user <Username>" info dialog has to appear.

    Follow the note number:1133821
