IT207 Residence tax area out of payroll

Hi guys

Is it possible to take out from payroll process the IT0207, here it is taken as informative only and if it is different from 0208 Work tax area, we are getting an error in payroll.

It's perfectly normal for an ee to have residence (IT0207) and work tax (IT0208) to be different (e.g. ee works in one state, but has residency in another state). Therefore, it's best to see what error you get and fix it when these two are different rather than trying to disable processing of IT0207.

Hi,

My understanding is Infotype 207 cannot be removed from payroll processing.As per the US standard Schema U000 processing the Infotype 207 is mandatory for running the payroll.

You can customize the standard schema and try to remove the processing of Infoype 207 .Function p0207 and GON has the checks for Infotype 207.Also check function USTAX which does the tax calculation for US payroll.
