error processing the application

Hi,

When processing the finance application I got the error message as "Casr from type "DBNull" to type 'String' is not valid.

please help.

I would advise performing a FULL process on all the dimensions used in that application set. Sounds like something is not in sequence, or that there is data in the application that was created by logic or loaded via DM process that doesn't match the dimensionality. Try that and if the dimensions full process, but the app does not, then it is the data in the fact or WB tables.
