Cant we perform drilldown in Queries on a infoobject having no master data/text checked in its properties.

Hello,

Please check and see if the infoobject is set as attribute only in General tab. Remove that check box and you should be change it to navigational attribute to the main infoobject.

Let me know if this resolves the issue.

We have 0BP_FSTNAME and using this in my query as a nav attr. Im unable to do any drilldwon on this! IN the context menu its not giving the option to Remove Drilldown and i cant even drag and drop this into free chars from rows!

But if i have the same object in free char, I can drilldown to rows. But reverse is not possible.

that may be because you clicked on attribute only.

0BP_FSTNAME - make sure this is enabled navigational in ods/cube as well. Are you using this attibute as navigational attribute to 0BPARTNER. make sure the navigational flag is set both in masterdata object under attributes tab and cube/ods as well.

As I said before, it is switched ON as Navigational attr in the infoobject, in the infprovider and its is not checked for 'attribute only'

property in the general tab. Even then im not able to remove drilldown on this.

Its the issue with infobjects property under BEX tab:

Selection > Unique for every cell>changed it to--> No selection restriction. Its working now.
