Difference between MB51 and MB59

Hello Gurus,

Please tell me if there is any difference between the t-code MB51and t-code MB59 (Material document list)..

hi

both the T-code are used to extract list of material documents created w.r.t mvt type..etc. u cannot see the material doc which doen't have any accounting doc.

both are same.in reporting wise mb 59 is different.it have some special features..in mb51 display without traffic light symbol in report.

Authorization check

If the check failed for at least one authorization check because you do not have authorizations, the list output may be incomplete. In this case, the system issues a message and you see the following pushbutton in the application toolbar:

(Display Authorization Checks)

You can display an overview of the authorization checks that have been carried out by choosing Goto -> Display authorization checks. The overview is broken down according to the type of message, the authorization object, and the plants checked.

The following messages can occur:

Red traffic light: error

The system deleted the data records in the output list.

Yellow traffic light: warning

The system deleted some fields in the data records (for example, values) in the output list.

Green traffic light: successful

The authorization checks were successful; all the data you require is displayed.

As per my knowledge

Both are for, same purpose

for checking material Document list

Dear Friend,

In the transaction MB51 you can get all the documents your created with respect to material but in case MB59 you will not get all the documents like material documents not having accounting documents

For example: posted to blocked stock(103), transfer posting from storage location to storage location within plant
