Time hierarchy from Hana Live connection in SAP Analytics Cloud

Hi SAP Community,

I have an issue for using a time hierarchy built in Hana studio on SAC.

Whenever I want to use my time hierarchy in a time series chart, the chart set the time at January 2001 and a warning is raised by SAC saying that it can't match some data to some dates.

However if I decide to choose the date column in SQL format the time series works but I can't roll up on the date.

To create the hierarchy I followed these guidelines concerning the time hierarchy management :

I also know that SAP recommend to match both version of SAP HANA and Hana Studio in order to resolve hierarchy related issues in SAC :

Therefore, as my HANA DB version is 1.00.122.05, I should use a 2.3.14 version of Hana Studio.

However, as I can't find this specific version in the Launchpad, I use the 2.2.17 version, a lower version than recommended.

Can someone tell me if this problem is solely due to my Hana Studio version (and in this case if a link to the specific version of Hana studio exists) or it is due to something else.

PS : Initially my calculation view was using Star Join property but I tried with a copy of this view without Star Join property and the issue remains.

Meanwhile I hope you found a solution because in my case we dropped the time hierarchy functionality as we did not find a solution at that time.

About the warning raised by SAC when I want to create a time series trend, I read it poorly. It says this : "Some values without proper dates were excluded from the chart"

My time dimension matches my transaction data as I can create a "basic" line trend chart using my time hierarchy :

I wonder if it can be because of the column data type I used to build the hierarchy when you affect date related columns to each level type (TIMEYEARS,TIMEMONTHS, TIMEDAYS).

I used VARCHAR columns for my year, month and day data as the same kind of hierarchy is done when you generated time data in Hana studio in _SYS_BI schema.

Should I use another date type for each date related columns ? I tried with int values and it didn't work either...
