Automatic update of Warranty Master for Customer Equipment

Hi,

I have a scenario for equipment warranty. In the ECC6.0 , I use the batch management and serial number management . Customer equipment master are generated with serial number during the time of confirmation of production order.

Requirement : I would like to do auto update of warranty master for the equipment taking the delivery date as starting date of the warranty and assign the relevant end date or warranty master to the equipment.

Is there any way we can do using std functionality or enhancement?

There are a few serial number related user-exits and BADIs.
