change level account by dtw

Dear All

We have a problema with a db custumer. About 200 accounts have another level that the original. they have to had level 5 and now the have level 2. -Someone knows what happend?, i think the customer move the father account but now we have a problem how can i return the original level, i ´ve tried to do it by dtw, but doesnt happend.

-someone knows how can i chenge the level but no one by one?

Hi

If you are talking aabout Chart of Account structure , you can do it through Edit Chart of Account and change the levels .

You would be the best person to know what happened ,however system also has linitation in this particular issue of log tracking .

I´ve check the log but there´s no movements, i´ve tried to edit with the chartofaccount templete but the last level havent change

im using the "father account key". but there´s no change, and i need the 'saldo' to be iqual.

Hi Nancy,

If you go to Edit Chart of Accounts under Financials menu, you can highlight the account you want to change and select a new level and parent account. This will be the easiest way to do what you need.

Ineed to know fist why occurs this issue, and then how to change te level for this 200 accounts one by all , i know the manual way but there´re many accounts and it could be slow.
