Separate the services of Lumira Server and Data Services to different SAP BO servers

Hi,

I have the following topic, one of our clients has in the same server SAP BO (4.1 SP06) the services of Lumira Server and Data Services.

The client wants to do an SAP BO upgrade from 4.1 to 4.2, but before doing the upgrade we want to separate the services of Lumira Server and Data Services in different BO servers.

I've been searching the web but I do not find anything clear about it.

Does anyone know if there is good practice to separate these Lumira Server and Data Services services that are now on the same BO server to separate BO servers?

What can be the best way to do this?

Any idea is good, thanks.

I'd do it this way :
1. Build the new 4.2 environment with desired architecture
2. Migrate content from current environment to the new one using Promotion management or PMW
Benefit - no disruption to current system. New system without previous baggage of upgrades/installs.

Are you planning to completely move Data services out of Business objects, means Data services have its own separate CMS repository or you juts want to have to share the same CMS repository as Business objects?

Lumira server you can install on separate server and stop the existing Lumira server on the business objects.

Yes, we want to install Data Services on a separate server, with its own CMC Repository, a new Database. The question here is how to make the Jobs point to the new repository. I know I can migrate the Jobs by export / import from .ATL file. SAP connections can be migrated by Promotions Manager. What can you recommend me in this case?

And Lumira will install it in a new cluster server pointing to the CMC of BO source, this is to not change the hostname of the CMC (<hostname>: 6400) and be easier for users.
