Where can we find the Crystal reports runtime 64 bit for dot net?

We already have the SAP BO Enterprise 4.2 loaded on one of our servers.

Do we have to get the Crystal Reports Runtime 64 bit for dot net as a separate download?

The "classic" Crystal (i.e. Crystal 2016) components in BO Enterprise are 32-bit. You can't manually upgrade them to 64-bit.

Crystal for Visual Studio no longer allows you to connect to BOE for reporting. So, if you're going to work with Crystal through BOE, you'll need either the .NET or Java SDK which can be found in the Client Tools install. The .NET runtimes for this are available as a separate download in the same place where you downloaded your server software. The single download contains both 32- and 64-bit runtimes. The same functionality to connect to BOE and manipulate Crystal reports that used to be in the Crystal for VS SDK is now available in the BI Platform SDK.

Crystal for VS is for working with Crystal Reports without the connection to BOE. This is what you use only if you don't need a connection to BOE.

Thanks Dell,

you say-'The .NET runtimes for this are available as a separate download in the same place where you downloaded your server software'.

could you share the link specifically?.

1)Another issue we have is - we have an xml datasource which is not supported by the Enterprise version- hence for designing we would have to use a separate install of SAP Crystal 2016, isn't that so? We need the 64 bit runtime to ensure our application works so do we still use the same link for the 64 bit Runtime engine?

Thanks in advance-
