Issue in ESS-MSS

Hi Experts,

In ESS and MSS applications when I see the preview of the iviews I get the below error:

com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDRuntimeException: ComponentUsage(FPMConfigurationUsage): Active component must exist when getting interface controller. (Hint: Have you forgotten to create it with createComponent()? Should the lifecycle control of the component usage be "createOnDemand"?

But when I assign SAP_ALL authorisation to the user I can see the preview of the iviews properly. But we cannot give this authorisation to all users.

We checked SSO configurations and JCOs also. They are working properly.

Please suggest some other solutions.

Thanks,

Rajani

    Hi Rajini,

You have to add some authorisations that allow the end user in ECC to view their own records in ESS portal. Did you add all the required authorisation to a role and add the role to the user in ECC?

    Regards,

    Gopal.

    Hi,

You need to give userid the ESS role in Backend (R/3). It will work.

    Thanks,

    Ravi

    Dear Rajani,

Try to make a trace in the ecc (with the st01 transaction) of the user that you use in the portal, to see wich authorizations objects do you need.

    Regards.

    Hi,

Please cross verify that the User ID in Portal and User ID in the Backend System are of same naming Convention. (Should be identical).

Cross verify whether the Basis JCo are configured in your Portal System. Also check whether you have assigned the User ID which you are using is assigned to Employee in Backend System.

Hope this will resolve and let us knowif you face any issues.

    Regards,

    Hi Rajani,

As suggested by one of my friend , start trace in ST01 ( rfc trace ) and carry on your activity.

Once the error get generated , anaylis the trace of ST01 where you will get the list of missing object which will be present in light green colour where dark green color mean there is no authorization problem.

So concentrate on light green color.

    Thanks

    Anil
