user authority for outbout delivery

Hi experts,

To avoid some users using some functions in the delivery, such as packing, deletion, is it possible to define a new Tcode via SHD0? If yes, pls remind me of the key points as the testing hereby does not go well. For e.g., the user is assigned to the new Tcode only. But this user can use VL01N as well.

Hi,

Use the T.Code "SE93" to create a new T.Code.

Ask your ABAPer to create to new T.Code.

Besides, I got one more question about screen variant for packing function. If this screen variant is created, how to assign it to the users. U know, some user still need this function while others not.

Hi Cathy,

Restricting user for Deletion of delivery can very well controlled by Authorization object, for this you have to contact BASIS team. Again for Packing restriction you can use screen variant and disable packing button. There is no need of another T-Code.
