ABUMN and ABZON fields

Hello Experts,

We want to modify the screen layout (fields) of these transactions - ABUMN and ABZON.

When the user needs to transfer an asset or to enter an asset without vendor, it is possible to select an existing asset or a new asset. If the user selects a new asset the field cost center appears in the layout but we need the field 'order' instead of the field 'cost center'.

We have done the following changes but the problem persists:

- We have activated the Order as an assignment object

- We have deactivated the Cost Center as an assignment object

- We have specified the assignment types for the assignment objects.

- We have updated the screen layout for the asset master data.

Can someone help us?

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks a lot in advance.

Changing the screen layout for asset master data will not replace the ABUMN screen with "Order" instead of "Cost Center". If you have made "Order" as mandatory in your AMR screen layout than you should be able to populate it by clicking on "Additional Data" button under master data. User will not be able to transfer asset A from asset B unless the "Order" field is populated.

But instead of above option if you want to replace cost center field with Order than you need to create a "Z" transaction for e.g. ZABUMN with whatever screenlayout you want with the help of you developer but I would suggest using the std SAP transactions.
