Email from HCP

Hi,

I would like to know the possibilites of connecting an internal SMTP server to HCP using a cloud connector. As we only have an SMTP server within our network. The idea is to create a email service on cloud that can be consumed by UI5 applications which needs to send email.

Yes, it is perfectly fine to do what you want.

Thanks for the reply.

This document describes the connection of CPI to on premise SMTP.

Do we have to tuse this in our cutom UI5 application developed in wed IDE?

Dont we need a destination created in the cloud platform ?We do have a MAIL option in destinations but I dont think that will help in this case .
