Dear K. Raju,

Are you stil facing the + Local TMS Configuration Inconsistant+.

If Yes...

You dont need to delete your TMS configuration and created again and again, this is not at all a good practice.

To overcome with the said issue, please do the following steps:

T'Code STMS

---> Select Overview from Menu bar

-

> Select Systems from Menu bar

---> Select Extras froom Menu bar

---> Select Distribute and Acitvate Configration:

From this new popup window, please Select: Distribute Configration to All Systems.

And click on OK

The + Local TMS Configuration is Inconsistant+ will be resolved.

Please do confirmed after performing the above steps, if you face any issue, please do let us know to help you resolve any issue.

All the Best

Thanks n Regards

Ahsan.

Hi Raju,

did you issue resolve? I am facing the same.

I have deleted the TMS config in domain controller and its peer systems.

Now trying to add peer QA system to domain controller getting the error as you get "Time     11:12:40         Message  INVALID_LOCAL_CONF".

updated the rfcs with tmsadm password, even tried to create rfc manually to get out of the communication issue. But still get the same error.

appreciate if you have any inputs on this.

Thanks

Hi Gowri,

After a homogeneous system copy, I now experience the same issue when adding new copy to tranport domain.

Creating a new domain does not give this error.

at first, the TMS domain is running good.

I delete the TMS configuation in DEV client 000 before delete QAS system in this domain, and then i try to reconfig TMS domain in DEV, when i try to join QAS to the domain, I got the error message "Local TMS configuration inconsistent in QAS", details information:

=============================================================

System QAS Command TMS_MGR_CONFIGURE_CLIENT

Client 000 Service Communication Interface

User TMSADM Start Online

Date 2011-05-23 Function TMS_CI_START_SERVICE

Time 11:12:40 Message INVALID_LOCAL_CONF

Local TMS configuration inconsistent in QAS

tms_not configured

=============================================================

and i try to update and distrubut the domain configuation in Domain controller(DEV) according the online help, and I try to post installation both in DEV and QAS, but still no effected of all.

HI,

With which user and in which client you are doing.

You have to do this in 000 and DDIC / any user with admin access.

Try to do that and let me know if you still face the issues.

Thanks,

Hi,

1. Did you follow changing SID name ?

2. If you have done above, delete existing Transport configuration from SE06. If you haven't pls do.

3. Then, At transport domain controller, please remove this system ( if this system existed earlier)

4. Now, try joining domain.

It should work!

Thanks

Hi kemparaju,

It seems that the system you are trying to connect to a SAP system that has no Transport Domain configured.

Try by creating Domain in dev system and later in your system in Two system scenario.
