There is a similar post but its answer did not apply to my situation -- Edge 3.1 platform (on linux).
I have a dynamic parameter that uses its own sql command. It works fine in Crystal reports but when I publish on edge 3.1, it asks for the databse login. Once I supply the login it works fine again. The dataase configuration is properly setup with login info but it is still asking for login.
In one of the post, the solution says to use business view manager to store login/pwd in the data connection for the LOV object. But I can not find business view manager in Edge. 3.1. I have installed the client side tools three times and can not see it.
Any help on how to stop infoview reports to ask for login??
Thanks in advance!!
Regards,
Mohit.
Hi,
look for the CrystalBVM.exe in <BOBJ installationdirectory>\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86.

Thank you Stratos! I found the exe and was able to change properties and the issue has been resolved. Big Thank you as we were going in loops!
For the benefit of others here what I did to stop login prompts:
Our environment: Edge 3.1
1. Login to Business View Manager (see above if BVM is not visible)
2. Locate appropriate data connection under Dynamic Cascading Prompts folder
3. change Runtime prompt mode to 'Never prompt'
4. Put User name and Password
