Records are missing in AO with CDS views

Hello All,

We have developed a new Consumption view with FSV Hierarchy from table ACDOCA. Have generated the Hierarchy. When we look at the Consumption view we are getting all required field but when we are opening same with AO we are missing few records and in Consumption filter we have given the same input. Is there any way to get the trace to check why we are missing some records in AO.

Hi - could this be an authorization issue? Assuming you are running S/4HANA on premise, could you run an STAUTHTRACE to see if the user has access?

Hi,

check out the SAP community Wiki: Using Hierarchies in CDS.

There are several SAP Notes with corrections listed that need to be implemented.

Also, see the the examples for the different hierarchy attributes.

Also, use transaction RSRTS_ODP_DIS (option Check Metadata) and RSRT (Execute&Debug: Display SQL) for finding out more details about the access to your CDS view before checking it in the frontend.
