Stock related

Hi,

My client wants to make Zero stock of a particular material.

Now, after issuing to a order, though the 'Unrestricted use stock' and the 'Quality Inspection stock' is showing zero, but it's showing some quantity for the 'Reserved stock' in MMBE.

How to make this 'Reserved stock' zero??

Pls guide me.

Hi,

Reserved stock means the material might be reserved in production order / Planned order.

Find out the Production order in which you have used this material as component from report COOIS.

Then TECO those production order through COHV.

All reservation will be removed.

Hi,

In MMBE what ever you see under reserve stock are the reservation which are created for different production orders etc. If you want to clear that reserve stock you need to Technically Complete(TECO) all the production orders where that material is used. Go to MD04 enter that material number and system will display status of where that material is used. TECO all the orders then reserve stock will be zero.

Thanks for the reply.

But my problem is not solved yet.

Though I have TECOed all unTECOed process orders, but some unconverted planned orders are there for this material...I think for this only I'm facing the problem.

What to do??

delet them or convert them and TECO.

Dear kaushik,

Just delete them in MD16

or Re-Run MRP with parameter Planning mode as 3

Hi,

Go to MD04 screen and enter ur raw material. System will display all the requirements of that material. If its an Order do TECO and its a planned order delete. Ensure that entire that screen is empty without any requirements of that raw material. Then only your reserved will become zero.

Kaushik,

find out the related orders through MD04 or COHV as suggested above.

if the order status permit , issue this component to the orders.

Stock will be automaticaly become Zero.

check out and revert back.

Dear kaushik,

1) just check in MD04, reservations exists for that materiel

2) so just TECO all the orders in which this materiel are used

3) u can TECO in Mass in COHV

4) Now system sets all reservations to Zero
