Does Material Ledger have to be fully set up in Central Finance system?

I understand ML functionality is not supported by Central Finance. Does it mean we can postpone configuration (including parallel valuation and currencies) and activation of ML till the time when we move all processes into Central Finance?

Had issues in the past S/4 implementations where we had to reset the client because it wasn't possible to change ML settings after documents had been posted.

No ML is not required for CFIN implementation. You would have to activate and configure the ML settings later only when logistics processes are brought into the S/4 instance that CFIN is running on.
