PI to XI Scenario

Hi all,

i have to send a Message from PI to Xi using Xi Adapter.

BS => PI => XI => BS

Both PI and XI are in differend SLD, so i define Xi as a Business Component in PI Integration Builder.

The Communication Channel of Type Xi Adapter Receiver use Adressing Type URL with service Nummer 80.. an´d

/sap/xi/engine/?type=entry.

But in SXMB_Moni i get following Error:

<SAP:Stack>Error while receiving by HTTP (error code: 400, error text: ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED)

Do i miss any configuration in XI like SM 59????

maintain HTTP type RFC connection in SM59,

has SM 59 to configured in Sender System PI or in receiver XI ??

i have configured a xi adapter with adressing Type URL Adresse like in this

For HTTP and XI you can directly give the URL in the adapter itself. There is no need to create the Destination in SM59.

but got error Message in SXMB_MONI

check DNS is correct or not ?

You need to add few parameters in sxmb_adm

Since it is a Proxy communication (XI adapter) you need to maintain RFC destination....also if not wrong XI should be a Business System and not business component....make a search for XI to XI inetgration on SDN.....the procedure will be same (backend config) as for PI to XI.
