So there is an ADS 12, but are there any notes about what is included or if there are fixes?

Honestly this new site is so obtuse I can't find anything I need and I really don't think anyone is even working on ADS. We have customers crashing all the time and we are seriously considering migrating databases or just hanging it up and moving on to something new.

It certainly feels like SAP don't direct much in the way of resources to ADS. It would be currently be hard to commend ADS with any confidence, as a solution going forward. I've given up trying to get prices out of them and am looking to migrate to something else - it's a great shame.

Updates are available from https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/softwarecenter. Select SUPPORT PACKAGES & PATCHES > By Alphabetical Index (A-Z) > A > SAP ADS. Switch to the Downloads tab if you are not taken there directly. Change the OS to #OS INDEPENDENT.

You can also search for "Advantage Database" in the search bar at the top. Make sure "Downloads" is selected as your search area. Select "SAP ADS 12.0" "Maintenance Product".

In most cases you would want SP2, until the next service pack comes out. You can install SP2 directly without installing the initial release. SP1 contains only updates to optional components, not the server or ARC, so you usually would not choose this unless you knew that SP2 was not compatible with your development environment.

There is a Readme in each of the Service Pack downloads, which you can also reach by clicking on Content Info, then selecting the hyperlink to the relevant KBA.
