Function Module to Check if a Material is a BOM or not

Hello all,

Is there a FM to check if a Material is a BOM or not?

Kindly suggest any other way if you have.

The FM you provided reuires me to pass the BOM usage.

But i have only the Material Number.

AS your functional consultant for BOM Usage.

Without specyfying BOM Usage a Material BOM cannot be created

Just read table MAST with material number. If such material is exist in this table - material is BOM.
