Sybase ASE 15.7 System Requirements for SUSE and Ubuntu

Hi Team,

We are in the discussion to upgrade our linux servers to SUSE 12 or above from SUSE 11.4. Also, we are looking into the scope for moving our sybase servers to ubuntu environment. Whether SYBASE ASE 15.7 supports in SUSE 12 or above and Ubuntu linux serves.

If yes, can you please provide the system requirement for installing SYBASE ASE 15.7 for SUSE 12 or above and also for Ubuntu with version details.

Thanks for the reply.

I just verified the information in Product Availability Matrix.

SYBASE ASE 15.7 supports only in SUSE 12 not the later versions of SUSE.

Also, SYBASE ASE 15.7 and SAP ASE 16.0 will not support on Ubuntu servers.

Please confirm the above details and correct me if I am wrong.
