Information Broadcasting issue when email attachment as XML(MS Excel)

Hi Experts,

I have a BEx report "ZZPA_C01_Q007" , when I schedule through Broadcasting as an XML(MS Excel)attachment, my report file name is as ZZPA_C01_Q007_00000.XLS. But I do not understand why the file name is added Zeros(0000) at the end.

Does anybody know how these Zero(00000) values are generated?

It is critical issue we are facing at our client site, we did not find any similar postings in the forum.

I really appreciate a prompt response.

Hi,

Every time when you broadcast the XML(MS Excel) attachment , the system creats a log of all the files with its count as 0000.

when do create one more attachment it automatically follows buy its count.

this will be always be seperated underscore _0000 and _0001 and soo on.

Thanks for quick response.

as you said the attachment of the files never changed the count, it always 0000 because of that i cannot save the new attachment as new file unless i manually save as new file name.

is there any way we check why the counter is not increment.

i really appreciate .
