GTS check at Delivery Document level and Product Classification

Hi All,

I have 2 questions regarding GTS.

1) We have GTS check activated for both Order and Delivery. Now when an order is created, Order goes on a Legal control block, order is released from this block manually. Now when i am creating a delivery, what is the system standard behaviour, does the delivery also goes on a legal control block or since the order went on a GTS block and was manually released, delivery is not expected to go on a block.

In my case Order was on legal control block and was manually released. Now delivery also going on a block even there was no change in order before the delivery. How can i avoid this.

2) I have 2 legal regulations active for a product and both of them have the same Numbering Scheme assigned. Now when i am classifying a product under one legal regulation the same classification i.e. same ECCN number is getting assigned to the other legal regulation as well, but the same grouping value (under additional data ) that was assigned under the 1st legal regulation is not getting assigned under the other legal regulation.

Is this a standard behaviour.

regards,

Sunny

Do you have your system configured to Adopt legal control from preceding document?
General Settings --> Doc Structure --> Activate Item Cats --> Legal Control --> EXDLV1 = Copy Legal Control from Preceding Item

If no, then that is probably your issue. If yes, then when you say you are "manually releasing" the order, are you doing that via Legal Control check and doing a manual assignment? Or are you setting up a proper license authorization so that any documents matching the criteria within the license object authorization would get assigned to that authorization?

Sunny, your question 1 is very well answered by Jessica.

Question 2 : yes, its standard behavior.

Details: The classification of a material is saved at numbering scheme level (table /SAPSLL/PRCTS), whereas grouping is stored at legal regulation level (table /SAPSLL/PRCON).
