WS basic authentication fails to reach hci

Hi Gurus,

I am new to HCI.

I had a customer with an already working instance and managed to do some iflows.

But now i have a new customer, with a bran new HCI tennant and i am trying to use a standar package.

1- I have applied and deployed the standard content into HCI.
2- I have copied the URL from the deployed object
3- I have updated the WS to point to the new URL and used my S-User with basic authentication. My user has plenty of access in HCI cockpit.
4- I have asked basis to apply the the HCI certificate to the anonymous group in SAP Strust Tcode.
5- Do a Ping in the SOAMANAGER WS (there is a button to do pings)
And I get this error:
SRT: Processing error in Internet Communication Framework: ("HTTPIO_PLG_CANCELED")
6- Went to HCI log and see if the ping got rejected on HCI, There is nothing there.
7- HCI tenant IP address is not being filtered by any firewalls and thus can be reached withing the customer network. But cant be reached from withing the ERP.

Can you please help me? I am stuck and don't know what else to try. Thanks!

Is there any guide with all the steps needed to follow to properly communicate SAP ERP to HCI using web-services?

Thanks Guys,

The problem was pretty silly. I took the certificate from the tenant url, but the real certificate is reachable once you deploy the artifact and get it from that URL.

Cheers,
Alex

Hello Alejandro,

You could check also the certificates list, check the associated Intermediate certificate and associated Root certificate.

Also, please check the ICM HTTP Logs as Bruno mentioned.

Hi Alejandro.

You could check ICM HTTP logs and traces (by SMICM transaction in SAP) and find the reason HTTP ping is failing from SAP to CPI iflow. Ask a support to your basis team if you don't have the rights to the SMICM transaction.

Bruno
