Putting an account on stop

Hello All.

I've a predicament with our accounts department. We have just moved to SAP B1 from a bespoke solution, one of the previous functionalities was the ability to put an account on stop, this is generally when our accounts department decided it was time for customers to pay up before we would process any orders to manufacturing.

I could do with a solution to enable an alert onscreen or some kind of identifier so sales personnel know when an account is on stop, equally I could do with a mechanism for accounts to make BPs on stop without inactivating the BP itself.

I'm open to ideas.

Thanks

Hi

first, choose one BP property and rename it with a description.

In the TN add the SQL code that identifies the object (every document in SBO has an object identifier), and check if the property for BP in the transaction is marked according your business rules.

Kind regards

Agustín

Hi

you can use one property, and the Transaction Notification.

If the property is true, the Transaction Notification will block the operation you are working.

Kind regards

Hello Agustin.

Sounds good, I understand the property aspect.

Can you explain the transaction notification in a little more detail please.

Cheers

Simon
