Unable to Display Fiori Notifications

Hi Folks,

I am trying to implement Fiori Notifications for Purchase Orders.

I followed all the steps given in How to Setup Notifications Fiori Guide.

Now in my Launchpad am able to see Notifications Icon,but if i click on teh Icon am seeing information as you have no Notifications and in console am getting below error Message.

Please kindly see the screen shot for error message and help me to resolve this issue.

We are having the same BTC user error for SAP_WORKFLOW_PUSH_NOTIFICATION Job.

Can you please share if you have resolved this.

Hi Pankaj,

Please find all the communication you will understand.

Finally we have raised a tciket to SAp and Suggested to do a Stack upgrade to make fiori Notifications to Work.

At this point please raise an Incident on the SAP Support Portal - it looks to me like the user used for the SAP_WORKFLOW_PUSH_NOTIFICATION might not have sufficient authorization. However it would be better to get this checked formally

Ok so great that is a good step forwards!

And you have the work items working in My Inbox so that is a good starting point.

And identified the job SAP_WORKFLOW_PUSH_NOTIFICATION is not running.

Try running the program RSWF_PUSH_NOTIFICATION_EXECUTE from SE38 - that's the underlying program. See if it gives you an error.

In the past there have been a few issues if the bgRFC destination configuration is not correct, or of course it could be an authorization issue

Thanks a lot for your Prompt response.

As you suggested executed the Program RSWF_PUSH_NOTIFICATION_EXECUTE and looks like no errors.Please find the attached screen shot for the same.

Regarding bgRFC Destination i was checking SBGRFCMON and am not able to see any errors.

Could you Please guide me which kind of authorizations actually needed to resolve my issue.

Ok well if you have followed the guide you are probably very close to getting it working.

There are a few points where we find people tend to skip so some thoughts below to help you diagnose it...

Which version & feature pack stack of SAP S/4HANA are you using? Are you running in embedded or hub mode?

Have you checked the advice on enabling the notifications in the Fiori Launchpad Administration Guide for your S/4HANA version? How we configure has changed somewhat in the latest 1809 version so always important to check the current guide.

Have you completed all the steps in :

including...

* trusted RFC communication between hub and provider

* setting up the notification channel configuration as per the description in the help Notification Channel Configuration

* assigning the user roles and authorizations for the Notification Channel consumer user

and

testing your notification center with the demo provider?

Have you checked the suggestions in the Notification Channel troubleshooting section?

What if anything is showing in the bgRFC Queues when you use the Monitor bgRFC Queues transaction SBGRFCMON ?

Hi Jocelyn Dart,

As above noted i identified this issue with respect to Monitor bgRFC Queue, and this issue is with respect to some trusted RFC and after fixing this issue am able to see Demo notifications.

Now am not able to see actual workflow Notifications with respect to a PO Created.But the same am able to See in My Inbox app and Purchase Order Approve app.

In trancastion SJOBRREPO am able to see one job (SAP_WORKFLOW_PUSH_NOTIFICATION) status is BTC User Error in Netweaver system but the same is showing status as success in ABAP Backend system.

Please find the attached screen shot for above issue.

Could you Please guide me to resolve this issue.
