EXSQL_UNKNOWN_CONNECTION & DBIF_DSQL2_OBJ_UNKNOWN connecting to ext Databas

Hi,

We are running on ECC 6.0 system.

We have connected to three different external databases which are Oracle databases only.

We have created Z programs and we are running those programs in background which are connecting to these external databases. Some of the programs finishes successfuly while spome of them finishes with the ABAP dumps EXSQL_UNKNOWN_CONNECTION and DBIF_DSQL2_OBJ_UNKNOWN.

What could be the problem?

Is it the connectivity problem, as sometimes the job finishes and other times it terminates with the above mentioned ABAP dumps?

If yes, then how to test the connectivity with the external databases from SAP system.

Have you done analysis of these dumps in ST22 ?

Hi Sunny,

Yes I have analysed the dumps in st22.

We have scheduled the background jobs which are exchanging data with external databases.

Sometimes these background jobs get finished and sometimes it gets cancelled and gives the above mentioned ABAP dumps.

I am not sure whether it is related to the database connectivity or something else?
