Custom fields in IT0024

Hi,

I included some custom fields in the IT0024.But in PA30,the subscreeni.e.,the custom fields are not displayed for IT0024.Can anybody help me with this.

Are you using Qulifications infotype integrated with Personnel Development or not?

Please check SM31 - T77S0 table.

PLOGI QUALI entry.

Please tell me what the entry value is.

This means that you're using Qualification Management in PD module.

Thus, PA0024 is never maintained and actually IT0024 is not used.

When you open IT0024 of an employee, you actually reach his/her profile which can also be reached from transaction PPPM.

In other words, there is no way of enhancing the infotype if you use it w. PD integration.

However, if you prefer to give up this integration, and make PLOGI-QUALI value empty then you may enhance the infotype.

You need to build and generate the custom screen. Use transaction PM01. It is well documented if required.

Thanks for your response

In Tocde PM01 I have enhanced the custom fields using the custom include.The custom fields that I addded is present in PA0024,PS0024,P0024.But in Tcode PA30,I m unable to see the fileds.

Generally when you include custoom field it will be displayed in subscreen in PA30.But fot the IT0024,the custom field are not getting displayed .

Can you please check & let me know the solution as soon as possible

Hi,

I'm not an expert at all (it's my first post) but maybe you can find something useful:

I suppose you have modified screen 0200 of the module pool in PM01, and also the layout screen.

If so, check table T582C, you should add the module pool and screen to the table.

You should also check T588M and check the fields of your module pool are not hiden. Note that some fields could be hiden for some variable keys.

I checked in table T582C,the entry was there.

But in table T588M teh entry is missing.

Can you just say me the details what i should give in the table T588M..bcoz i m new to this HR-ABAP.

We have many fields like variable key,alteernative screen,etc

Please remember i'm also new with this, so please correct me if i'm mistaken.

You should add your module pool (let's say ZP002400) screen 0200, without any variable key or feature (if you're using features, create another entry for each variable key), rest fields leave it with 0 if you don't need them.

You can find more about features in SAP Help. Or maybe somebody could suggest good documentation.

Try what Rama is saying, open the entry you have created in T588M (double-click) and check the fields you have created are there.

If not, there's a problem with the module pool. Remember to add the fields to the element list as well.

If they are there, check they are not hidden.
