mrp scheduling

Hi, if particular machine is under break down maintenance or preventive maintenance for some time daily or weekly, whether that much time will be considered by mrp while scheduling the operations? if so where can we see for scheduling times of particular ma chine that includes product order operations and break down or preventive times for particular day. basicaaly for certain day what are all the activities planned by mrp for particular work center. please advise.

Dear,

If you enter the plant condition in Transaction IW31for the blocking requirement for the PP work center.

This should cause the capacity of the PP work center to be blocked by the maintenance order for a certain period and not to be available for PP capacity requirement.

This blocking capacity requirement of the maintenance order on the PP work center.

Dear,

First you need to creat the equipement as work center use in PP. In Maintenance Master data for equipment master records there is a field "Work center" available in Location Tab view. Enter Production work center number there for that equipment. At the time of scheduling of the order maintain system availability data as 0 % available.

If the equipment is belonging to production workcenter you can specify there,so hence if the production order is created for that workcenter ,when equipment is under maintenance (if you specified system condition as 0 in maintenance order header IW31) then in the planning board you can see the maintenance order or production order reference.

In IW31 put plant condition put as zero'0'.

Dear Brahmankar, created a order with iw31, set 0 in header. what is meant by planning board, what is the t-code. please advise.

1. HI this is possible to be control in the Plant maintainence module.

2. In case if you have any Breadown or preventive maintance order, there we can control how the workcentre to be handled.

3. In CM21you can see the capacity is blocked

I havent checked with MRP but it may work as per your requirement,

Dear Raju,

1) I think all ur threads are related with PM Module

2) the purpose of MRP is to Guarantee material Availbility, MRP will not check Capacities

3) if u don't want MRP to Consider particular work center then just lock that work center
