Dear Experts;
If I have an employee who is entitled to receive an annual leave 21 Days in a country that considers the month as 26 Days as it's not considering the Fridays in the Payroll.
I Defined the Generation Rules for Quota Type Selection to get 1.75 Days Accrual Period.
My question is;
Now the system is calculating this quota monthly. If I have an employee resigned by the mid of the month, then how can I make the system calculate him just 1.25 days as a quota for the month he left?

give base entitlement for this
field CONSTANT give 21
related to period check calendar year
maintain hiring date in IT0041 as tech date of entry likewise thru dynamic action while hiring itself
this will help us to generate these quotas by referring date in IT0041 (date type)
give
valid from : date type : tech date of entry
valid to : date type : tech date of entry
deduction interval as per ur policy
Reduction rule is important for u to reduce
use reduction rule 03 in standard which has below setting
in Basic Data give Emplymnt pct from plnd working tinme
key date : day by day acrual period
reduction rule incative days : accrual period
Pct inactive days : 100%
To percentage : proportinte reduction
From percentage : proportinate reduction
assign this reduction rule to ur absence type
hope now it will work fine

Actually we are applying -ve time management and we generate the quota from report RPTQTA00 monthly.
But I have a problem with the system which is, when we hire an employee from the mid of the month the system gives him all his quota and that's what's required, but when he's terminated by the mid of the month, the system doesn't give him his quota for this month at all and here's the problem.
Ex;
If we hired an emplyee who is entitled to an annual leave quota 2.5 days per month on 15.01.2009, then he takes his quota for this month which is 1.25 days.
And if he's terminated on 15.10.2009 he should also take 1.25 days as an annual leave quota for the month of termination.
But when we generate the report for the month 10, from 1.10.2009 till 31.10.2009 the system gives him nothing.
Would you please advice.

Hi,
check reduction rules reduction by inactive days and assign it to generation rules and u have to generate the quota in the month end not in the begining of the month....

I did what you told me, and terminated an employee on 15.11.2010, but when I came to run the quota from 1.11.2010, till 30.11.2010 I got the following Error;
Generate period work schedule ACTIVE for 1/KW/13 in 11/2010
Error while accessing public holiday calendar on 20110101
Error when generating monthly work schedule ACTIVE for 1/KW/13 in 12/2010
Can you help me.
