Hi,

I am creating Materia Masterdata with Wares House management Views also.Then I am creating PO,GR.But i am not getting WM Details in GR Process.Please Tell me how can i solve these problem

Hi Prasad,

Even if you have maintained the WM views for some material, but still if the storage location you are using while GR is not WM active then also the WM process will not be triggered. I would advice to check that whether the storage location you are using for GR is connected to some ware house number at back end.

Hi Prasad,

I hope that your Warehouse definition is in place. If not then following is the path to difine the same.

Enterprise Structure - Definition - Logistics Execution - Define, copy, delete, check warehouse number - Define, copy, delete, check warehouse number (Here you create your warehouse number.)

If the above things are in place then simply check that the storage location and plant combination you are using for your GR is assigned with the ware house number for which you have maintained the WM views for that particulat material. The path for that is follwing. Here you can maintain that combination

Enterprise Structure - Assignment- Logistics Execution - Assign warehouse number to plant/storage location

If any of the things mentioned above are missing then you wont be getting any WM tab at the time of GR.

Hi Prasad,

I would certainly let you know the process, but dont forget the allot the points to the solution provided.

Steps for GR in WM till end.

1) MIGO against PO.

2) Display the GR document and note the TR (transfer requirement) in WM tab

3) Create TO(transfer order): got to LT04 and give the warehouse and TR number

4) Confirm TO by LT12: GIve TO number created in step 3 and warehouse number. Here you need to give the destination bin. Provided you have storage bin alredy creted to the warehouse you are using

5) check the stock in destination bin by LS03N

This is it. It is also called as Put away process in WM.

I have completed all process and i am getting Stock in WM (LS26).

But i have another doubt.i am entering GR for 500 Pcs.In these Qty I want 100 pcs for Prodection purpes and 400 qty Self Storege .Please tell me how can i control Storege Types

Hi Prasad,

Instead of creating different storage type for production, I would advice you to first receive all the materail in some bin then Issue to production from there. If at all you want to create a new storage type and bifurcate your GR quantity at the time of GR, offcourse it can be done at TO level also. You may always change the quantity and destination where you want the material.
