split valuation

In split valuation we assign the moving average price only to the valuation category level.why is we not assign the standard price.please explain in detail.

Hi

Valuation category is a Header record , As per standard SAP For a material whose stocks are valuated separately, you can only

create one valuation header record with price control V because the individual stock values are cumulated and the total value is updated in the valuation header record

hi,

we generally take MAP for raw and WIP materials.it may be used in std valuation or in split valuation.

hai,

We assign only MAP to the material at valuation category level because as we may need to maintain both MAp and or standard price to the material of valuation types.
