Purchase Group mandatory

Dear Friends,

I want to Make Purchasing group Mandatory while creating Material Master. I made EINE-EKGRP, Purchase Group as required entry in OMS9 and OMSR. But still it not becoming Mandatory while creatign Material master.. It is showing as optional entry. What to do to make Mandatory.

Hi,

You need set the T-code, material Group, the fieds all mandatory. if there is one you set is not, then will be not mandatory.

OM59->Field Group 52, click Enter, set mandatory, MM01 set mandatory, ROH set mandatory. After set these threen, check the result.

I already set mandatory for MM01, MM02 and Material type in OMS9 . Still it is not set as mandatory while creting Material master. Please guide me on this to set as Mandatory

Hi,

Follow the steps

1.Just click the tab ,(Which is u want to be Required entry )and get the field name as MARC-EKGRP

2.Go to T.Code: OMSR and enter that field name and get Selection Group 52

3.1. Use t.Code: OMS2 and click your material type and in next screen check Field reference ( you have assigned for material type){{ ( example :;For ROH material type the Field reference is ROH)

3.2. use T.code:OMS9,, Double Click your Field Reference and select field selection Group 52, & select round box of Required Entry and save.
