Which version to use while activating Multiprovider via program?

Hi Experts

I have one question regarding resolution steps shared in Note 2120763 - Query does not read newly added SPO partitions. When we are going to activate multi-providers with ABAP program in production, which Object version "A" or "M" is to be selected for activation of same.

There are already few links in which some says A and some says M, it is confusing and hence, wanted to ask with respect to this note.

Hi Sushil,

"A" is the current Active version.

"M" is the modified changed version.

In most cases, select "M" to apply the changes - so the "M" version becomes the "A"version.
