Hi,

We are getting ZDATE_LARGE_TIME_DIFF Runtime error.

CI and DB instance are on different host

We have checked the Timezone and Time in CI and DB .There is no difference in TIime or Timezone.

Even though there is no time difference ,we are getting ZDATE_LARGE_TIME_DIFF in our system

Regards,

Kumar

Hi Kumar,

Is this problem solved?

How long have you had this issue? I suspect it may have to do with the different DST rules in the US.

One more note: The DB time should be based off the OS time, but you should also double check the OS time and OS time zone in case there is a minor inconsistency or OS bug behind this. Also check your <SID>adm user and DB user's env variables: env | grep TZ

Try running report RSDBTIME, and also check the time zone in client 000 (STZAC). Also make sure you have the correct daylight savings rules applied per Note 919538 in both clients, and/or import the most current time zone settings per Note 198411, which will update all the rules to the latest. Also try reports TZCUSTHELP and TZONECHECK, TZCUSTDISP in each client and look for any inconsistencies. Hope this helps..

Ian
