FX LOT SIZE IN MRP1

Hi all,

i have a problem in fixed lot size.

1) in material master record i define

- LOT SIZE= FX FIxed order quantity

- FIXED LOT SIZE= 150

2) in customizing OMI4

FX is defined as :

- lot-sizing procedure S

- lot-size indicator F

- lot size SOP: 2

But when MRP runs, the purchase requisitions of this material are generated for the real requirement quantity (for instance 62 PCs) instead of 150 PCs as defined in FIXED LOT SIZE.

What can i do to solve my problem?

I have also substituted LOT SIZE SOP: from 2 to " "Lot-for-lot order quantity. But the result is the same.

Hi Alba,

Please check if in OMI4 the indicator "Last Lot Exact" is checked for the FX lot size key (or the one that you are using).

If it is, this may be the reason for the behaviour that you describe.

hi,

u may use monthly lot size ie MB or HB u see it what this. and maintains required fields.

Dear Alba,

1) after making setting Lot Size: SOP as Lot-for-lot order quantity. save this setting

2) Run MRP in MD02with processing as NETCH

4) make Planning mode parameter as 3 ( Delete & Re-create planning data )

Then check the result
