Hi All,
I have checked all the threads posted and I could get good information regarding MI34 executing for batch inputs...thanks for Jurgen for your inputs.
However I need some help,
1.Created PI document using MI31, executed in SM35, generated PI document number
2. Created excel file(same as BISEG), no entries created and converted to text file
In this file, there are lot of fields. Do we need to manually enter all the fields? I mean Session name, Tcode, Spl stock Indicator, Posting block due to PI,......... till last field --Project account assignment: batch input field.
Please let me know how to give entries in the file?
Thanks & Regards,
Krishna
can you explain how you get your inventory count data in the file you have?
Then I may be able to give you a suggestion.

No. What I asked for is the following. If you try to upload inventory data, the how do you conduct your physical count and how does the counted data get into the upload file?
there is no advantage to count manually and enter the count then into an excel spreadsheet to uload it with MI34 instead of directly doing it with MI04 in SAP.
So when you use MI34, I assume that you count with e.g. offline scanners.
Hi Jürgen,
I have face the simiral issue & our client requirement is to upload the mass physical count data into the SAP through excel. Can anyone give me exact File format to be used in MI34 transaction? I know it should have the BISEG structure (and I did it this way) .I tried that hundred times as well as in tab delimited format.
Also tried to create the Text file from Microsoft access database & upload the same on application server but I got the # between each field & system create the session like amit1234####.
I checked your earlier reply in other threads but still am facing the issue about the flat file, Pl help
