FI-FM versus EA-PS

I'm a BI consultant and I'm working with Funds Management (FM).

When I was analyzing the BI Content, I found two FM "modules": FI-FM and PSM-FM (Public Sector Management).

Now I want your help, is the FI-FM the Funds Management for SAP ERP 4.6 and PSM-FM the Funds Management for SAP ERP 6.0?

Thanks

Hi

FI-FM is also the same in ECC 6

PSM-FM is part of FI-FM, although represented seperately because it is the account group.

The purpose:

These represent reporting for the financial balances of general government long-term assets and liabilities for an entity.

Memorandum-type entries are necessary to offset these balances, since these financial transactions have been or will be reported separately for the respective funds

The General Fixed Assets account group is used to account for all general government fixed assets, with offsetting entries made to an "Investment in General Fixed Assets" account.

The General Long-Term Debt Account Group is used to account for all general government long-term liabilities, with offsetting entries made to "Amount Available" and "Amount to be Provided" accounts.
