Download falies from BPC 7.0 installation

All,

I know I can obtain the software From the SAP Support Portal,

- Downloads, from the 1st menu Bar

- SAP Installations and Upgrades, 2nd menu bar

- Left Column, Installations and Upgrades, Entry by Application Group

- From the list, SAP Application Components

- SAP BPC for Microsoft

- SAP BPC 7.0 for Microsoft

After this I add the software to dowanload, I also installed the SAP Download manager. But the files are not dowanloading.

I am using Win Vista Machine. Can that cause a problem in dowanload.

The error is 400 request failed.

Any help would be appriciated.

Hi,

I believe you don't have the download access from SAP's marketplace. You can check your authorizations for your ID.

Hmm,

if I do not then I shoudl not see the download panel. correct? or should be allowed to add in the dowanload basket!

is there a Support portel access report for your ID that one can see?

Hi,

Without the download access also, you will be able to view the download panel and you will be able to add the objects to your download basket as well. However, it wont let you download.

Once you login to SAP's marketplace, go to "my Profile" -> "Display my Authorizations". Verify that "Software Download" is available under Authorizations or not. If its not available, then the user ID doesn't have the proper authorizations to download objects.

This is good. And the answer is that I do not have that. Hance i can not dowanload.

Last question, How do I get that? From my corp or from SAP?

You will have to contact your super administrator. He / She will be in a position to help you out on this.
