Tax override

Hi Gurus,

An employee went from no taxes to paying medicare and social security towards the end of a pay period. But, the system deducted those taxes for the entire pay period instead of a partial period. If this is the way, how could I override those taxes so that he gets to pay portion of medicare, social security etc.?

Thanks,

Sansin

The wage base is same but this guy got his medicare taxes come out in the middle of a pay period. He was a student until the middle of the pay period and became full time after then. We used infotype 235 to stop medicare and Social security taxes. I am talking about /403 and /405

Hello Sansin,

This makes no sense. The tax is calculated as a percentage of the wages regardless of the period length. Why do you think it is incorrect?
