Publish data from Comp to EC in functional currency.

All,

Our customer grants stocks in USD & we have set base currency view in the comp template to be "Functional Currency". All functions good in Compensation but when the data is published to EC, the currency gets defaulted to local currency. (Note: The amount remains same).

Eg: Amount of stock = 10000 USD in stock planning, its published to EC as 10000 MEX.

Amount is not converted as value gets stored in functional currency for the template but published to EC with MEX.

Currency parameter is not accepted in XML in section <comp-ect-output-component>.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried changing the baseCurrencyView and statementCurrencyView to "functionalCurrencyCentric"

baseCurrencyView indicates which currency view (local currency view or functional currency view) should be the base, which will be preserved in DB, as opposed to the other currency view will be converted on the fly, in which precision would be not guaranteed, by default and to be back compatible, we use functionalCurrencyCentric.

statementCurrencyView: This flag is used for generating statements. It will decide what kind of currency is used for statement generation. It only affects VarPay at this point. It is ignored by Comp.
