Change Standard ALV layout for KKBC_ORD

Hi,

I would like to know how to change the standard layouts I can see in ALV of transaction KKBC_ORD; 1SAP01, 1SAP02, 1SAP03.

Thanks.

Alfonso.

If you want to choose between 1SAP01, 02 or 03, before executing the report, cick on small cube icon, to select one of the four standard layouts.

Ususally, should you need to modify the standard layout, after you execute the report, click on the cube icon, re-arrange the fields and then save the layout as custom layout with a layout name starting with Z. Probably, it may need to be preceded with a slash.

I know the behavior and how to manage layouts in ALV grid; for all users (starting with "/") or just for the creator (starting with "A-Z"), ..

But my question is regarding STANDARD layouts, I want to add a column in one of them, KKBC_ORD layout 1SAP01. I know I can copy in a /1SAP01, but I don't want that. I want to modify the standard one.

Thanks.

Is the field hidden in the layout? or do you want to bring in a new field altogether? If it is the former, then you pull in the field you need and save. You might probably get a message that standard layout cannot be changed? Do you get it?.

If it is the latter scenario, they you might need to look into changing the program to bring in the new field.

Thanks Sridhar for your interest...

Right, the field is already in the layout, (but hidden), I just want to pick up it and save the standard layout 1SAP01. But when I do that I get this message: "Standard layouts must start with the special character /"...

I know that ... but if I put a "/" I create a new layout... and that's what I don't want... At the end I want layout 1SAP01 with new field saved.

I don't have an answer for that. However, whatever you change to standard layout, they are going to be overwritten for any support pack that is going to be udated. It is difficult to monitor that, Users can start complaining later after support packs. It is best to have your own layout and make them default.
