Hi, what is the control key used for sub-operations for which we do not want seperate confirmation. when main operation confirms, the sub-operation should get confirm automatically. please advise.
hi,
You can use PP03 or *PP05 * or any other which dont have tick for confirmation required.
only thing is that , other details also you need to check for.
Depending on your requirements, a sub-operation can contain the following data:
A control key, which specifies
Whether costs are determined for the sub-operation
Whether the sub-operation is processed internally or externally by a vendor.
Whether, afterwards in order processing, a confirmation can or must be made
A wage type for settling incentive wages
Standard values, which are planned values for the activities to be performed in a sub-operation.
External processing data, which form the basis for externally processing sub-operations
User-defined fields with any customer-defined data
Check and revert back

Dear Ritesh, i have tried with pp03 and pp05, but by confirming main operation, the sub-operation status is not getting changed to cnf or pcnf. like in milestone confirmation, by confirming main operation ,is it posible to get confirm the stsus automatically to cnf or pcnf for sub-operation without manual confirmation of sub-operation. please advise.
Rajuguru,
as suggested above , if your suboperations are not confirmations relevatnt they will not have confirmation status by confirming main operations.
if bussiness needs the varios stauts of sub-operatuions similar to perations , use control keys which require confirmation and in main opertaion use milestone so that as soon as this operation will be confirmed , all the previous operations will be confirmed.
just identify few oeprations in routing and change this settings.
Check out and come back.
regards
Ritesh
